'It is more than just flowers'

My journey with flowers began when I was a teenager, when I had the privilege of working alongside my Mum in her flower shop. She taught me everything I know about flower arranging, from flower names and beautiful combinations to the realities of running a business. It was here that my love for flowers truly began.

I’ve always had a deep connection with nature, but becoming a mum has made that connection even more meaningful. I love learning alongside them and showing them the beauty in the natural world.

At home, we grow our own fruit, vegetables and flowers, and it’s been so special to share that experience with them. Watching their curiosity and love for nature grow has been just as rewarding as growing the flowers themselves.

And from there, Sown & Wild was born.

I would often create dried floral arrangements, from bouquets and wreaths to thoughtful gifts and thank-yous, so it felt like a natural step to follow my love of flowers and turn it into something more.

Sown & Wild was established in October 2022, and it has taken me on the most incredible journey. From creating bespoke gifts and wedding flowers to designing beautiful floral installations for shops and businesses, every project has brought something new and exciting.

And now, the journey continues, with the introduction of wholesale products in 2026 and fresh wedding flowers launching for 2027 — something I’m incredibly excited to introduce alongside my everlasting dried florals.
